For as the nature of foul weather lieth not in a shower or two of rain, but in an inclination thereto of many days together: so the nature of war consisteth not in actual fighting, but in the known disposition thereto during all the time there is no assurance to the contrary.
恶劣天气的本质，不在于一阵两阵骤雨，而在于许多天集合而成的一种倾向。战争的本质也不在于实际的战斗，而在于整个没有和平保障的时期中人所共知的 战斗意图。
本来我想说，英国人的语法和用词实在太让人orz了。后来发现作者是托马斯·霍布斯（Thomas Hobbes，1588年4月5日－1679年12月4日），我心里就感觉平衡了。敢情人家说的是文言文。
另外，在文一带动下，周末看了部“It might get loud”，由三位吉他手Jack White，The Edge 和 Jimmy Page 合作的纪录片。这位伦敦的Page大叔说话也是真的好像每一句都是诗一样。如果不是在片中看到他抱着吉他，飚难以置信的电音，我难以相信说着这么优雅英文，看起来有点像Simon Rattle的老人，曾经是一名摇滚乐队的吉他手。
